I'll never comprehend the love and success that this comic received. There are things that I hate that are successful, but I can almost always at least understand why it is that people like it, but this is one that simply eludes me.

It's mainly aimed for people who enjoy slice of life comics. The action and the jokes are meant to keep people reading if they're too bored with the slice of life aspect, thus it depend mainly on your type of humor.

the developers behind the game must have been pretty big fans to fit in so many tiny details. Scott Pilgrim as a series has been pretty lucky with that kind of stuff. I think I remember reading somewhere that Edgar Wright was a huge Scott Pilgrim fan too.

The Lucas Lee fight was one of the things I thought the movie actually did way better. Having him use a ton of stunt doubles was a lot more clever than Lucas just offering Scot the chance to pay his way out.
