Bump for non-shit league universe books.
Thanks for the bump!

What are the shit league universe books? 2009?

The Black Dossier and Volume 3: Century

Century reads great in one go. I actually waited until it was all collected, and greatly enjoyed it.

For me both it and Black Dossier just cram in too many REFERENCESREFERENCESREFERENCES and it gets in the way of the actual plot, whereas the Nemo books are a return to a nice balance..
Is there ever going to be a comic about Les Hommes Mystérieux?

I agree. Black Dossier in particular is more like a elaborate game of where's Wally than a story

I'd love to see O'Neill drawing the Albatross and the Terror, like he draws the Nautilus.

I'd suggest a French comic, La Brigade Chimerique, available as a scanlation, The Chimerical Brigade and currently being published by titan as The Chimera Brigade.
It's all about continental 'superheroes' in the interwar era and why those kids of heroes died out in literature, it's a really wild ride and the Nyctalope features quite heavily among others.

I'll see if I can find all the files for another storytime.

Don't have the official titan version, but I prefer this one because Titan pussies out somewhat in keeping the real names of the heroes for fear of copyright. Like Mabuse is called Dr M, they call the Nyctalope something weird and H.G. Wells' New Accelerator character is called a different name too. But I'm 90% sure they're all public domain so I don't really see why.
There is a brief cameo by some American heroes too, The Shadow, Doc Savage and Supes, they're not referred to by name but it's obvious who they are, and the Titan version just gives them a palate swap.

It was pretty much thrown together by Moore just to give Kevin something to draw because he didn't have any work lined up
Why every pairing on Nemo is between a young or underage girl and a much older guy?
