What wentright?
Grant Morrison trained his padawan well

>You will never do acid with Grant Morrison
>>93416956
Doesn't mean you can't do acid by yourself and have a fucking breakthrough. I believe in you.
A couple of my friends are at a festival and bringing me back some goodies so if anything I might be joining you.

What's worth picking up in trade from this imprint? Definitely getting Shade but I'm also curious about The Wild Storm do I have to have read the previous run to enjoy it?
>>93417068
Oh, I have. I've done LSD twice and both times have experienced wonders beyond words. I can't imagine what having a guide like Morrison would be like.
Still, hope you have a good trip, mate.
I really want to like Mother Panic, but I think they're going to write themselves into a corner since its in Gotham. She basically helped blow up two buildings in Gotham and Batman didnt kick her shit in? really? Batwoman didnt attempt to save those kids at the end of the first arc because she "knew" Mother Panic would do the right thing in the end?

Shade is generally considered the best, but Doom Patrol is solid as well.
Cave is a fun read, but it's kind of slow between issues (though reading it in one chunk may remedy that).
Mother Panic, isn't bad, but it does go back and forth between being ironically and unironically edgy. It's probably the most straightforward YA title, so if you prefer cape comics, this might be more up your alley.

Yeah, I'm not super crazy about this title either. If they really wanted a shithole, they should've set it in Hub City.

I honestly like Doom Patrol a little bit more than Shade.
Also, Bug is the true tribute Kirby deserves.
Can you read Bug without any pre-reading, as long as you're decently familiar with the DCU and some of Kirby's Fourth World?

I mean, his first one went to the Dark Side
>>93418257
yes
Shade, Bug, and Scioli's backups are the best parts of DC
>>93418290
Who is this and what did he do?
>>93418341
I love Mark Russel, but his backups just don't do it for me in Cave. I hope they bring Scioli back someday.

Pic name says Mark Millar, who writes like he never outgrew his dark edgy "shock passes for good writing" teenager phase.
