season 4 was fine. Season 3 suffered the same problems with townie episodes early on, then it ramped up in the later episodes. Season 4 introduced some new throwaway human characters generally used to flesh out other characters, which is kinda bad but wasn't completely unwatchable.

There were a lot of episodes revolved around Steven getting btfo because he couldn't solve his problems unless someone was there to help him. I think that's a good learning process he must go through since he's somehow got the idea that he's actually Gem Jesus and must carry all his burden on his own.

Worst season will always and forever be season 2. Fuck tiny Peridot.
