You waste resources on shit that won't sell for more than 4 issues, have to overuse your 'good' writers while hiring cheap off tumblr/twitter (it already backfired for them with the Indonesian guy sneaking shit in the comic, because he was cheap and fast enough for a bi-weekly comic, not to mention the recent shit writers they've been hiring)
And if you do get a good comic on those rare occasions, they are overshadowed by EVERYTHING around them. Maybe someone would have enjoyed Nova, never bothered to pick it up because they were already buying so many books.

Also events do kill comics , so do Relaunches, iirc Ms Marvel is doing worse off after Civil War 2-Electric Report.

Stop with the events/crossover shit. Some people just want to be able to pick up a couple of titles every month without having the events tie in with fifteen other titles that you have to read to know what's going on.

Stop relaunching so often. It's not that relaunches are awful as a whole, it's just when you do them so often, it becomes tiresome.

Hire more young talent at exploitative rates to act as assistants to the headlining talent.
Develop and update Line Bibles, keep timelines tight and characters on model.
Speed and expense can be saved by going more towards the workshop model.
