I wouldn't be caught dead reading this shit in public. It might not be sexual in nature or show anything, but people will obviously make the connection. They'll make the connection for any fetish comics really, almost none of them are subtle.
I've always meant to get around to reading Dames' comic but I just never do. Something about his older art style throws me off from putting the effort into reading the entire comic. I can tolerate it long enough for a good fap though.

It usually takes me about 3 passes before I actually read a comic.

The only webcomic that's blatantly driven by the author's fetishes I read is El Goonish Shive. I wish the plot would move a bit faster sometimes, but the SoL stuff like the card game tourney is cute and I have a hard on for worldbuilding, which Shive delivers on.

What do people feel about comics that are obviously fetish related but rely heavily on on plot and characters? Should it be one or the other or is there a good balance?

Most of the fetish comics I'd want to read never get off the ground. The artists keep toying with the idea of making a fully fledged comic but just release a page or two scenario and single images. It's frustrating in multiple ways.

One put their on webtoons and I have to draw the line somewhere.
