Why are people so pissed off on Thin outlines, did it kill someone?

Because it has no personality. Lines are one of the fundamental elements of art, so if they're boring to look at, it passes on to the rest of the art as well. When you don't include it in your art, it shows you don't really grasp why it's there to begin with.

^This. Thick lines draw the eye towards features of the character the artist wants to stick out (in this example, Elsa's shape, eyes, the divide between her hair and skin, and mouth). It isn't even that thin lines look BAD, it's just that having the exact same line weight all throughout an image, much less a character you're supposed to relate to, robs it of so much depth. Despite how much /co/, and 4chan in general, hates 3DPD girls, 2D waifus look awful when they don't even try to imitate having a third dimension.

Thin, uniform lines look sterile
Thick and varied is universally better

Thick lines create a harder border between two areas
Also, they take up more negative space which means you won't realize flaws as fast as with thin lines

How about not making most of the lines squiggly and removing line overlap on connection points?
Also would be nice if details weren't omitted, shapes distorted and the eyebrow made to float, just so the pic would be worse.

I'm not >>93401108, but you can't deny there are flaws in the drawing on the right not apparent in the other.

They clearly didn't give a shit about the lines flowing into one another in the thin line drawing. Some of the lines are a bit shakey too. You're blind if you can't see the differences.
