Why wasn't T Ray the Deadpool villain?
>>93396321
leave it for the sequel(s)?
does he have any memorable villains of his own?
>>93396321
Because chronologically Wade's first (known) enemy is Ajax and Killebrew's chop shop, once he becomes Deadpool full time then he runs into present day problems, some like T-Ray who claim to come from the past.
casual reminder that T-ray and that whole "You killed me and took over my life" thing is no longer canon because IT WAS ALL HALLUCINATIONS OOGA BOOGA

Well, it was reversed first, so Deadpool really did nothing wrong and T-Ray was always the bad guy.
They changed the story before they introduced the hallucinations.

T-Ray's not a good villain and his motivation is laughable
Deadpool writers always went back and forth on T-Ray telling the truth, until Butler outright confirmed T-Ray's always been full of shit

I thought it was Slayback, and killing him is what landed Wade in the Workshop.

I don't see how T-Ray could really work in the films, and not just because he's an overtly supernatural character.
It worked in the comics because Wade's past was mysterious, even to him. In the film we saw everything and nothing was ambiguous.

I don't think the movies would care that much about keeping any real-world logic in regard to its villains

Does someone Wade chose to deep six count as a known enemy at the time?
I put Ajax and Killebrew up front because everyone knew the score well before shit went down.

Yeah, but what I mean is, the X-Men films have pretty much just stuck to mutants and sci-fi stuff like time travel and the Sentinels, without outright paranormal or supernatural things like ghosts or demons or magic (besides maybe Apocalypse) and that... at least, not yet.

>For a time, Fox did have the rights to Taskmaster as his own property.
This explains why he never showed in the MCU. I was wondering why they didn't do something with him.
Why exactly was he under Fox anyway?

They could go two ways with it:
>handwave it as not actual magic, but Apocalypse magitech or some latent mutant power
>just have it as magic and lean into it being so incongruous

Shitty backstory and character design. He is one of the worst parts of Kelly's run. His appearance in Cable Loves Deadpool was pretty good, though.
