Holy kek.

>>93379107
Its actually nuts how good that week was.

/spa/ was an unexpected treasure
>>
Remember how MLPol thinned out the Redditors from the Oldfags? Good times
>>
/can/ went a little weird somewhat by posting anime stuff like nekos and went borderline furry but overall it was extremely peaceful. Was a good time. Only the already shitty boards suffered while anything decent only improved due to having a new experience.
>>
You mean /chowder/ ?

Pones chased out redditfags and the change of address fucked up the bots (they would have recovered eventually, but for a short while, it was bliss)

Life was good, anons
>>
>Very little /pol/shit outside of the board
>Comfy threads with everyone getting along
>/cock/ & /fitlit/ being absolutely based
Those were the best few days 4chan's had in a long, long time. When will Hiro bring them back? /mlpol/ throwing a shitfit after it was deleted was hilarious, too.

It was like one of those episodes where status quo fucks characters over
>/pol/ is forced to share space with /mlp/
>lose their fucking mind and expect the worse
>/mlp/ just makes fun of them and takes the opportunity to post porn
>/pol/ tries to get rid of them but fail hard
>realize the redditors and bots are gone because of the horse porn
>suddenly a truce happens
>they actually get together and watch the show
>/pol/ realizes the show is redpilled as fuck
>realize the boards have a lot in common
>hundreds of poor, innocent teenagers being exposed to horse porn
>they try to convince themselves they wear the pants in the relationship and they are "redpilling them" when they are the ones getting redpilled
>Suddenly status quo hit and they need to go back
>They beg Hiro to stay because they would rather share room with literal zoophiles than returning to their own board
>nuke /qa/ into a coma
It would never work in the long run but Jesus the whole thing was hilarious to watch
>>

On a semi related note, does Barneyfag browse /pol/?

>/qa/ gets frozen for a week to drive them off

Mate there's like a hundred little 4chan satellites now. Some of those satellites have their own satellites. Every time someone doesn't get exactly what they want they just make their own 4chan with blackjack and hookers.

4chan was originally a SomethingAwful/2ch hybrid satellite so it's just history repeating I guess.

/pol/ didn't like the idea of the furry influx, but they were miles better than the liberal shitstains they replaced. I hope they don't team /co/ with /pol/ next year. You fuckers are the most dreary intolerant tards on 4chan. Nowadays it's more true to say, "/pol/ is love" than "/co/ is love."

It would be like mixing water and oil, not because the differences in ideologies (or at least what people think the boards represent) but because the communities are just too different, /pol/ is chaotic and fast, /co/ is so disconnected it doesn't even feel like 4chan sometimes which can be either refreshing or frustrating depending on the subject
>>

hahahahahah

Nigga, I voted Trump and anybody with a brain know that /pol/ had never to do with him winning, what made him win was middle aged men who usualy vote for Democrats voting on Trump because of his policies regarding jobs.

Hell, the age demographic that /pol/ would be part of and most likely to know any of your memes, massively voted against him.

This is why /pol/ is so fucking dumb, you have a sense of self importance that is far away from reality.

Honestly I'm still expecting him to be impeached. Him being easier to impeach than Hillary is the primary reason I'm glad he won. Then we can have NEITHER of them, which is what most of America wanted in the first place.

But if he gets impeached then we get President Pence
>>
>>93382924
Its a gray zone, containing it to either board would just be shitting up one to save the other, if people don't want the subject around they will definitively want to kill the threads with shitposting because they don't like them, which would be bad to people who just want to discuss the movies

Mods were jerks about what happened with /mlpol/ and the war with /mlp/ and the /jp/ shitposters on /qa/. They said nothing about anything and froze /qa/ until the war was over. It would have been nice to have secret merged boards but no we can't have fun on 4chan. Mods don't care about what the users of 4chan want which is why /qa/ is 90% /jp/ shitposting and the feedback page hasn't been updated since 2015. Also, don't even bother with trying to talk to them on IRC they'll be assholes to you because they don't want to cater to you.

I wouldn't want to lose the /co/ name/url forever. But /cola/ works great for the superficiality of cape movie wars.

>somehow made /lit/ worse than it already is.

see, I've been to /lit/ and that board is horrible. /fit/ could only have improved it or left it the same. No way for it to get worse.
>>
>>93382957
Yes, you are a 30 years old that gets joy out of watching cartoons for kids and cries about Snyder not making superman smile l. Be proud of yourself.

Creating its own content will always be a sign of a good board compared to a board that only bitch about the product it consumes. It doesn't matter how much shitpost a board has as long as it creates something, even a Polandball comic has more value than 30 threads about how much you hate batman, why Steven universe fans suck, or crying over /pol/ mocking wakanda.

Neocons are just neoliberals + muh baby Jesus.

/lit/ is fine if you avoid the /r9k/ parts of the board. I would never have read Borges or Gene Wolfe if it weren't for /lit/.
>>
>>93383065
"x is fine if you avoid y" goes for pretty much any board though. It's all about the ratio.
>>
>>93382358
Mix /co/ with /pol/ & it'll just be /pol/ shitposting all over the place & "dude /co/mblr kek!" Fuck that

>Genuinely question here, what's wrong with Pence?
Memes aside, fucking nothing. It's be the same Presidency as if Paul Ryan would've won. Pence is just your classic ultra-conservative GOP member. He's definitely not LGBT friendly, but the memes are an exaggeration. Pence would honestly be a pretty chill President and it would mean the GOP could essentially do what they want.
>>
>>93383028
/co/ just has a different source of humor really, the attempts at LOL and screencap threads show that, it makes sense people here don't produce the same kind of content when they wouldn't find it funny in the first place

Everytime /co/ thinks it has the moral HIGH GROUND it gets rekt.

/tg/ posters already make up a large amount of /d/ users
Hell, 'That Guy' threads on /tg/ regularly talk about dealing with DMs or other players forcing fetishes into everything they can manage
>>
>>93379478
/sp/ gets invaded by /a/ every time there's a really big sporting event, and unlike other crossboarders they're not shy about it. Like "who /a/ here" in game threads and then they proceed to talk about waifus.

I've seen far more use of nigger on /co/ than people getting offended by it. /co/mblr is honestly one of the dumber memes I've seen forced on this site, & I say this as someone who thinks /co/'s mostly fucking awful
>>
>>93383389
Literally nobody here gets offended by the word nigger. At best you might have a teenager thinking he's hilarious by pretending to be offended by it in a really blatant over-the-top manner and other teenagers falling for it and going off to tell their buddies about how they totally made fun of a triggered SJW.

>Why would they?
There are weebs who are really autistic and lack any kind of self awareness (furries, bronies etc also have people like that) and will attempt to hide behind the "4chan is an anime website" argument to justify themselves when they are called for their ERP forum tier behavior, hiding behind legacy to justify shitposting

Of course this is assuming its not just someone doing it on purpose for a laugh

There might actually be some legitimate tech discussion. I see quite often people post non consumer tech on /g/ and get told to discuss it on /diy/, which is fair since /diy/ is actually a good board, and /g/ is full of /v/remin and phonefags. Occasionally there are some interesting projects that pop up, or things like reverse engineering threads, but a lot if it these days is company wars and shitty generals.
