Zealout is mean! Mean!
>>93371487
Thank you, been meaning to read an issue of this and see if I'm gonna get it or not
>>93371576
Nice issue and makes you realise why they picked up the Clean Room artist.
>>93371590
Very violent/body horror I assume?
The end
>>93371724
This book is giving me much of what I want and shockingly little do not want.
bumping for others
>>93371765
Man, every scene makes me excited for when the Deathblow finally goes off.
The end
Man, this book is good. I get some people aren't too happy about the slow burn, but I find it refreshing in an industry where major life changing events can come and pass in a matter of pages.
Also that cyborg chick is cool as hell.
>>93372868
This please.
>>93371620
>>93371611
Welp. This series got me started reading Clean Room as well and now this shit happens.
Bamp
>>93371526
Mean is cute! CUTE!
Bump.
Another one knocked out of the park Preach.
>>93374601
Cool.
>>93371620
>>93371611
What the fuck is this random shit pulled just out of nowhere?
>>93371715
Is The Bleed in Wildstorm the same The Bleed in DC mainline setting?
>>93378048
Either this is the first appearance of a Daemonite, or this setting shares continuity with Clean Room.
>>93378171
wtf does this have to do with clean room? Also it obviously isnt the first appearance because they say so in the very next page.
thanks OP
>>93371487
I gotta say that this series is reminding me of why I liked Warren Ellis back when he still made comics regularly.
everything Wildstorm related is boring as fuck besides Gen13
whens that reboot announced
>>93371786
There has to be a story to him sawing that guy's head off.
Bump cause I need to read this shit later.
>>93378439
If it's anything like the other Wild Storm Storm that is Wild then they have past history between species so far as to say they've met before somewhere somewhen but we'll always have Paris, anon.
>>93378056
Should be. DC took the concept from Wildstorm.
is Zealot gay?
is Void gay?
is Spica gay?
will they do gay stuff with each other?
>>93372123
Jim Lee tracing Justin Bieber will never not be funny
>>93372787
You'd think I'd get tired of the way Ellis write angry, old bastards but here I am still laughing.
>>93379618
This.
>>93380127
yes
>>93373047
Im not happy, because its not really Wildstorm.
Just a name to try to get people to buy it.
But its also a modernised take on Wildstorm. Because the old isnt wanted and its easier to reboot than build upon.
But good that some like it.
And good there are storytimes, so i dont have to buy it.
Are the sales ok, or are they underwhelming?
>>93380317
He seemed aware about it.
>>93372811
Lauren best waifu
>>93381837
I don't really care if it is or isn't Wildstorm personally. I think the storytelling is great and I'd be reading this regardless of the title it was given. The pacing is perfect so far and if people are calling this a "slow burn" I don't really see it.
>>93381837
I think it's more the old one is dated my man. This is literally Wildstorm of 2017 to me.
>>93383238
>I don't really care if it is or isn't Wildstorm personally.
And thats total ok.
The storytelling is more like tv series, but for me dont translate well here. Its very long, it feels more like dragonball fighting long, but not compelling because no action.
Its just something that should be its own thing, not trying to disguise as Wildstorm.
You can feel that Ellis tries here to write something that can be serialised, its like a tv pitch here.
It feels as if its not about Wildstorm, its just about how DC or Ellis can create a new IP to make tv or movie project out of it.
>>93383476
Yeah, i wrote that too, hombre.
Its a little bit 90`s, but the vol. 3 and 4 showed you could translate it well into the modern.
I wished they made it more like this than what its now
>>93371566
Strange damn world.
I smiled. I so hope there will be nods to PLANETARY despite all the evidence there won't be.
>>93383594
good catch friend, didn't even notice it.
>>93383574
I have to disagree, but different strokes and all that. I think the "it's a movie ad" falls apart when applied to WS which was almost designed that way.
>>93380127
IIRC

>>93383498
>create a new IP to make tv or movie project out of it
Most current mainstream comics give me this impression. Even if it's not always blatant there's still some element of it.
>>93382795
This is true.
>>93376670
Thank you anon.
So those little interludes with Pris, what's that all about?
>>93387871
Music videos, but all the over the top stuff in them is completely real. When she's talking about urban myths in the first issue those are comic book stories ("A man turned into a Bat in that alley")
>>93371487
Bump
>>93383594
Because no one expects it, im thinking a link is inevitable. Maybe the current secret organizations rose to fill the power gap left by the fall of the 4.
Granted I dont see anything happening regarding Planetary for a while. Right now the focus is on Angie's discovery of the conspiracies in plain sight and the oppressive and paranoid tone that comes with that.
>>93379921
Wrong. Morrison came up with the idea.
>>93371794
Oh shit, it's going down next issue, isn't it?
>>93390641
where?
>>93390641
>Morrison came up with the idea.

>>93389934
I mostly doubt it's going to happen because of Warren's comments on Planetary being OVER. FINISHED. He did everything he wanted to do and told their story. To go back to them just seems....not like something he'd do.
I'd love to see The Four monkey about, John Storm show up and mug to somebody about being a spy and I'd pretty much cream myself if Elijah Snow showed up to be a rotten old bastard to someone. But...I don't wanna get my hopes up.
>>93371487
I need more Wildstorm in my life.
