Is it 2020 yet?
I wish.

Disney and Pixar must be in some production issues if they only have one original film until this comes out. Why are there so many sequels right in a row. I wish they would space them out a bit more. Now it's just a new sequel every summer.

Blame the shareholders. Always blame the shareholders.
Why is Disney ripping off Dofus ? that episode with gulivette looks exaclty same.

Well that's obvious, John Lasseter used to know better than giving in to pressure and producing sequels just for the hell of it. I'm sure Brad Bird, Rich Moore, John Lasseter, and the Frozen crew really did want to do another of each of their respective films but at least split them apart between originals so they mean more. It's more rewarding to do sequels less because the public will be more hyped for them when they do arrive, especially to Disney stuff like Dory, TS4, Incredibles, Ralph, etc. Cars 3 might've even done better had they put out more originals. Now it's just full on sequels nonstop until the cows come home. Though to be completely honest with you I'll probably see all of these in theatres so they got me. Especially Incredibles and Ralph, those should have been greenlit immediately. No need for a fourth Toy Story though.

Well The Incredibles 2 is going to be released fifteen years after the first, similar with Finding Dory (which, imo, was better than Finding Nemo).
Right now the movie industry is almost entirely composed of epics or sequels. It's been years since the last romcom. For movie studios, it's go big or go home. Make a billion or fuck off. They don't want to waste resources on movies that won't haul millions. Small/medium movies don't bring out the crowds like they used to because going to the movies is so damn expensive. I don't remember when I last went to the movies; it's just too fucking expensive.
