Why do normies treat Capeshit like an identity and something like a lifestyle rather than just a hobby for cheap entertainment?
>>93347913
>normies follow capeshit as a lifestyle
that would be so nice anon, that would mean normies would try to be nice like superman or chill like flash
for them capeshit is just a hobby for cheap entretainment
>>93347913
Because some actual social retards in here give 'em reasons to.
You mean to tell me you've never seen those threads about guys flashing out their nerd merch and apparel?
>>93347913
Most normies have no idea where to even buy comics. I had to introduce some people to my LCS because they were interested but never took the time or effort to look for a shop. Even then I know they will never create a pull list or be interested in coming back because of lack of conveniency.
Curious, do you guys look down on those who only buy trades?
>>93347913
>why did they cast a gay man to represent people with Aspergers?
>>93347913
Why don't you just go back to /tv/?

As someone who only buys trades, I look down on those who buy floppies.
>>93347913
I'm like soooo nerdy guise
>>93347913
>See person with Flash shirt
>"Hey I like your shit"
>"Thanks! Bazinga!"
>>93348831
>wear a Shazam shirt
>yo nice Flash shirt!
>mfw

I never really thought about this before but I guess there are people who would be judgemental towards those who buy trades because floppie cunts can just act smug because they have the first appearance of a certain character.

I only buy trades nowadays. Mostly of older stuff finally getting released.

>Why do normies treat Capeshit like an identity and something like a lifestyle rather than just a hobby for cheap entertainment?
Isnt it the opposite tho? Just look at this board. Only the obssessive neet fags of this site and tumblr that get assblasted and so obssessive over /co/ stuff.

>A live action Naruto adaption with him playing Sasuke.

He'd make a better Orochimaru
>>93348625
I had an old room mate who was a self proclaimed "huge Avengers fan!", but didn't even know that new comic books were still being made.
I have nothing against secondaries, but you're absolutely right about the average person with nominal interest having no clue where to even buy comics, let alone caring enough to actually invest in comics as a legit hobby.
>>93348705
No. It's nice that people are buying stuff at all, and I doubt that there's enough trade-waiters out there in general that could have a big enough impact on a title with low numbers to keep it above cancellation thresholds.
>>93347913
Because people like you post on sites like this dedicated to discussion and unadulterated autistic obsession with an object of fandom.
You're making this thread on /co/ of all places, do you really have no self awareness?
The year 2007 was a mistake
