Anyone hyped?

I feel like 25 years later there will still be plenty of DC characters that will hardly get any spotlight in live action or animation. Wish they stop obsessing over Harley Quinn and the same Batman villains.

The initial announcement made me hyped, but everything I've seen of the movie since that time has made me less and less hyped.

No. When it was announced last year at SDCC I was a little worried because Killing Joke had come out and didn't exactly met expectations. Then the info started coming in , and the sneak peak got out and that's when I saw that nah this movie ain't for me, too much bullshit that Timm tries to push, also the unrequired Harley/Dick push that it came out of nowhere, and a plot that has no sense whatsoever... I'm gonna skip it

Semi-related to the thread, can someone explain the feverish hate Killing Joke received? I agree half of it being a Babs backstory was more Babs-story than I needed but once it actually got into the source material I thought it was good.

Look at this image. It's from The New Batman Adventures, which uses the exact same designs and overall aesthetic. But does it look stiff? Does it look like shit? Of course not, because it's well-animated. You can feel the life, vibrancy, and motion in it, despite the fact that, like the other image, it's not moving. God I want to be ill. Fuck all this.

Last DC animated movie I enjoyed was Gods and Monsters. They've been pretty garbage.
