>PART 15 - THE CHURCH OF SERPENTOLOGY
Another little side-story, this one. What with Chuckles lost to them, and the first agent Chameleon having quit, Hawk's running low on intelligence agents; and so, he reaches out to a certain private investigator. This'll surely end well.

This is quite a good arc, even if it has nothing to do with anything other than introducing Serpentor.
Well, this guy seems trustworthy!
In theory, I like the idea of "creepy cult leader and religious nutjob Serpentor", but he really needed the bombastic warlord personality of the cartoon version to go with it.
Also the silly helmet.
The religious intercuts in this one are really nicely done.

Do they actually manage to make this character non-retarded?
>>93318568
Well, I mean, they basically stripped out everything except the name and a few elements of the costume. So.Also fuck you, classic Serpentor is great. He's a classic-style supervillian, which is exactly what GI Joe needs.
This issue, and the next one... they basically have nothing to do with anything. They're character spotlights that'd fit better in Origins.
Still, they're well-written.
Ha ha! Time for skull busting!
>Detected possible malicious code in image file.
Shitcock.
Alright, here we go. Back into the meat of things.
What a happy ending!
Shit, didn't realise this had finished posting. We've got another Hama story; a one-shot, silent Snake Eyes story in the style of "Silent Interlude".

Hawk should really keep a closer eye on his associates. But at least Leonard found a sense of purpose.
>>93319534
To be fair, Hawk's a high-ranking general. He doesn't have all the time in the world.
>Snake Eyes doesn't take Timber as a pet
WEAK
Origins was the best part of the IDW G.I. Joe comics.

Look, man, there's some good stories in there, but Cobra will always be the all-time fave.

I'm getting a lot of dubs and trips in these thread OPs.
