I agree it is aged a bit, but whenever I try to watch episodes of Teen Titans I have to stop because I cringe at all the ersatz-anime visuals and the writing that isn't particularly good. Honestly I think the show's strengths in terms of characters are mostly things derived from the original comic book, which IMO holds up better

Oh don't get me wrong I absolutely love the comic. It's one of my favorites, Starfire is fantastic in the comic for instance, but I can understand why some people don't care for it as much as we may, and the cartoon has some serious nostalgia value for a lot of people.

Justice League Action is a spiritual successor. It has the same vibe and use of obscure and famous DCU characters, albeit limited to 11 minute episodes, and puts them in fun stories.

The showrunners of BatB are happy with how they ended things with the show, though they'd only come back to do a Crisis on Infinite Earths musical.

The first series was an okay action show that was consistent at world building and pretty good at it too. AF and UA retconned a lot of things and drastically changed the tone of the show so it turned off fans (that and UA had bad writing as well). Omniverse took the good ideas from AF/UA and re-established the original's continuity for the most part. Plus Omniverse is a great buddy cop show in its own right.
