idk if it was just meant to be satire though, because Rorshach is right in the end. Moore was extremely anti-government, but also anti fascist conservative types, so he made Rorshach a flawed hero. A very, very flawed hero with fucked up beliefs that come from a very real and true place. Which is a rather accurate and nuanced look at "crazy" republicans. They dont become crazy out of no where, it stems from (on some level) legitimate fears.

It was president Truman Rorschach admired, and it was pretty much only because the one thing he knew about his father was that he hated his mom and that he liked President Truman.
