Family Guy fundamental flaw (6-14)

So Family Guy sucks and that ain't news. And from watching cringe induced reviews on episodes and seeing the newer stuff, I think I found the three most fundamental problem with Family Guy, that makes it a dead show.

>Stick to one character

The characters in Family Guy is the most inconsistent quality in the entire show. This is apparent for 6 to 14 seasons and won't stop at this point. People think that characters in comedy is not that important, but it really is. The best comedy shows keep the personality of the characters or makes the characters actually grow. South Park, Always Sunny, Brooklyn nine nine, Community are examples of these things and are considered comedy gold. Family Guy just picks an already defined character and make them do anything the writers want, without thinking how it breaks their character. This makes characters, not actual characters and more mouthpieces to the writers. And makes some of the most Jarring or just stupid jokes and action to not care at all on what's actually happening. Like how Peter became psychopath and will not the lovable idiots, or Quigmire for some reason being preachy about his sister womenhood or his random hatred for Brian, or just Brian being the biggest dick and hypocrite. instead of the strait man. This gets worse when the writers want to make the audience sympathize or care for the characters, when they barely are and don't matter at all at this point. Almost all the cast gets this treatment and just rampant in the current series. What about these characters even sticks out anymore, besides all of them being crazy?
