I read the Nu52 All Star Western and wasn't impressed. Does Jonah always operate out of Gotham?
Buddy Longway. It's about a guy who gets his own siouxfu.
There's also a pretty coolmangacalled Green Blood that you may enjoy.

For an older example, look for Solomon Kane from Dark Horse.
>Far West is a graphic novel created by Richard Moore and set in a world similar to Tolkien's Middle Earth undergoing an industrial revolution. In this world ...

There was a comic by Moebius that had a Western setting

Sounds interesting. Is it in english?

Right remembered now it's called Blueberry
The aforementioned Jonah Hex.
Manifest Destiny, if you'd like some weirdness.
Tim Truman's Hawken, likewise.
Ostrander's Blaze of Glory and Apache Skies.
Bat Lash.
Moebius' Blueberry.
Hugo Pratt's Sgt Kirk.

I love Weird West, but MD really dropped the fucking ball when it came to the plot.
Also I hate how they changed the reason Merryweather went on the expedition. Because apparently his gay lover was threatened in that universe.
If I wanted to be hit over the head with gay themes I'd read Rawhide Kid or a modern Marvel comic.

Some of Buddy Longway was translated by fans. This link dates back to when /co/ had regular franco-belgian threads, so some may be expired:

Green Blood was scanlated as well, in its entirety. Highly recommended, the art is soo-poyb.

Only some? What a shame. I liked the art style.
