I feel like one of the big overlooked episodes Boondocks did was the follow up with Gangstalicious. I thought it was one of the last good ones that tried to say something kind of meaningful, pointing out how ridiculous it was that this famous rapper was universally beloved when he wrote songs about idiotic violent shit, but all of his fans turned their backs on him when he wrote a song where he tried to express his sexuality. Granted they make it kind of silly with the homoerotic dance that goes with the single and his hilariously queer fashion line, but the takeaway, that a successful rapper can only be a misogynist thug and can't even allude to gay love, was one of the sadder conclusions to a Boondocks episode.
