In my infinite film school knowledge, I diagnose this as Cartoon Network's experiment with easing into a younger demographic. CN was always a channel for the 7-11 age range, while this honestly looks 4-7. They're trying to do this because entertainment options are splintering at earlier ages and the strategy of airing Teen Titans Go to keep lowest common denominator attention is probably fading hard.

It is. CN's ratings have plummeted across the board for all shows, and its most popular shows are lucky to hit viewership of 1 million on premier night while most of its shows get in the 600-800k range. Just about 5 years ago, viewership dipping below 1 million would have been a sign of cancellation, and now its most popular fucking shows are struggling that. They need to abandon the TTG strategy but they keep pushing it for whatever reason.
