Sunstone is great and one of the few comics that has a serious theme but makes me laugh out loud on a regular basis. I can understand the dislike of sameface but most artists have it. What i don't understand is why /co/ doesn't seem to like his great work with expressions. So many artists will constant draw the characters with nearly the same face in every panel, even more frustrating is the closed mouth all the time when they are TALKING. But with Sejic you know immediately how a character is saying the words before you even read the dialoge. You barely need to look at the face in order to capture the tone.

If you mean the Pako pic, he sells art booklets at the cons with his twitter art as it is, and even his more complex art has that same feeling -although not as much since he adds more colors-. And is not bad, is actually really nice.

Nah. I find it a good balance between what we now know as Bendis speak and prose. It says what it has to say but adds flavor with a lot of 'unnecessary ' words that are use by normal people.

If you want more straight forward prose usually slice of life isn't the best genre for it. His dialoge would not fit in a war comicbut in Sunstone it fits
