It's not that she's black, or a woman, or whatever that dissuades me from caring about the character. I think it's the fact that it's yet another pseudo replacement for a high profile character like Iron Man, or Thor, or Spidey that just turns me off.

the storyline is too decompressed and what should really be one-issue stories get stretched into two or three issues
