Liked it as a kid. Want to rewatch it. Feel it might be a bit underrated as more people are weebs now.

Not many shows that are funny as hell have a good artstyle or animation. It made me laugh, so I don't mind.

It's my guilty pleasure.
Though it was relatively meh all around. I appreciate it's concept and it's references to both western and eastern animation.
It also had a lot of moments where it stunned me a bit with it's nods to Japanese history and even laws at some points. (Such as Emperor Meiji in the first episode, and the fact that you have to recycle in Japan)
It's also filled with nostalgia for me and it's theme is amazing.

also didnt realise the opening theme was done by beat crusaders which is awesome. obvious in hindsight really
