Pretty good webcomic. Pace is slow with a lot of emphasis on character building, updates daily though so it honestly is just a little slower than an average webcomic. Main plot starts really peaking it's head up around 500 if I remember correctly, but it's a fast read because of how much of each page is landscape or splash.

I'd say that despite updating 5 times a week, it gets about as much done plotwise in a week as an average weekly comic, it's just got way higher art/plot ratio than other things

Because S4 is quite possibly the single most dull, boring, slow fucking thing on the planet. The parts where it actually deals with the monsters are great; unfortunately this shit spends page after page after page dicking around with uninteresting characters, terrible background infodumps, and interminable stretches of doing shit with mysticism that reads like a fucking VCR manual.

Worse still, the quote-unquote "story" DOESN'T FUCKING GO ANYWHERE. Nothing is really HAPPENING. There's some stupid twats in a town talking about stupid twat shit, and a gaggle of cunts looking for books and shit in the snow. AND IN ALMOST 750 PAGES THAT IS LITERALLY ALL THAT HAS HAPPENED.

the pacing is glacially slow (hyuk), but I wouldn't call it boring--maybe it depends on your attention span.
but that art--that art makes up for it, big time.
Minna has posted some art tutorials--interesting look at the process, which is painstaking.
all in all, good read.
