Yeah but Hastings is funny and Gurihiru are adorable and when they work together they make something really special. It doesn't have to be GOAT in order to be really really good and unique. I mean, everybody lauds Kingdom Come as this amazing sensational work, but Ross's art is really stiff and lifeless, everybody looks like statues in poses and Waid's storytelling is a bit weak in some areas, but as a whole Kingdom Come is really a quite good read.

If it wasn't for Gurihiru, everyone would be throwing shit at it for being too tryhard, and too inconsistent. But since it looks cute you guys ignore anything wrong with it. And worst-- some of you defend the narrative and characters.
Please, if you're going to like something for the art style alone at least be a man and accept what you're doing. Don't pretend it's good. And don't pretend it's consistent.
