Sure, you can blame the MCU or Marvel Entertainment for that matter, but at the end of the day Capcom is the one making the game.

It's obvious that they're on a budget (you can probably thank SFV flopping and RE7 under performing), so they could've easily did things such as returning to sprites to save a ton of cash but they chose not to.

I think this is just the roster for the demo at E3 and the roster in the actual base game will have a few more.

I like it better too but you know that Marvel is catering more to the MCU now.

That said I will settle for it at least being DLC, it's better than nothing.

Also just like how some of the characters use each other's real names instead of their codenames (like Cap calls Iron man Tony and Iron man calls Cap Steve) I would like it if Nova calls Star-Lord Peter and if Star-Lord calls him "Richie" but I don't have much faith on Marvel remembering that those two were friends.

Seems like the gameplay really is still actually good. It's just that literally everything else looks bad.

I'm kicking myself hard for never gitting gud at UMvC3, so I'm probably going to get my ass kicked at Infinite, if I choose to buy it, which I probably won't do until they put out Ultimate MvCI.

Honestly, they should just delay the game by half a year or even by a whole year and include all the DLC characters they were going to release then on the base roster. The game needs to be touched up badly.

Also fuck, they still have Ryu's classic theme in there. Was really hoping they'd give us a remix of his MvC1 theme. I'm so fucking sick of hearing the same SF2 theme again and again and again.

It has Nova, Thor and a pretty Ms. Marvel instead of the dyke from comics. Those 3 are all I need.

It still manages to pale in comparison to Dragon Ball game, which is fucking shocking. I mean, I like Guilty Gear, don't get me wrong, but if you told me ArcSys would be making a game that's more hype than a new MvC a year ago I would have laughed right in your face.
