Do modern horror comics even exist?
Harrow County could be considered 'horror', from Dark Horse.
Slasher from the indie publisher Floating World Comics is as well.
As far as Friday, Jason and slasher shit I do not think there's anything recent lately.
Wytches by Scott Snyder is coming back

Really? I still have to get around to reading the first volume.
Harrow county has spooky ghost stuff. If you're into JAWS type shark action, hookjaw is good. There's also THIN with a killer tapeworm.

B.P.R.D.
Is Scott Snyder's run on Swamp Thing any good?
Severed is pretty darn good.
Does modern marvel count? The terrible story and art of squirrelgirl scared the crap out of me
All of Richard Corben's Dark Horse stuff is great
Ragemoor
Rat God
Shadows on the Grave
his collection of Poe inspired comics

the Rot World stuff kinda drags but otherwise its fine
>Hack/Slash
>Afterlife With Archie
>The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina
>Army of Darkness (mind you, they can be hit-or-miss, but I enjoy them more often than not)
The Trick 'r Treat and Krampus tie-in graphic novels are excellent too.

Snyder and Soule's runs were both good, in my opinion. >>93218974 is right about Rotworld though.

Begone back to /pol/ with you.

Unfortunately we're still feeling the effects of the CCA.
They stamped out the horror genre at its zenith, and no one has wanted to carry the torch since then.

Soule's is better. That may seem impossible if you've read his Marvel stuff, but his earlier DC work was actually pretty damn good.

Last Jason comics were put out by WildStorm several years (a decade?) ago.

>I don't really read comics
I heard MrCreepypasta was doing one, but I don't know what became of it
