Is Dan Jurgens ACTUALLY a good writer?

Actually I'll give him some credit. He is a good storyteller. His paneling and all that kind of shit is fine. His dialogue and plots are crap though.

He's gotten better. Death of Superman isnt that good, but most of what Jurgens writes is fine. His new stuff even borders on good.
>>93213669
His plots are stale, but I love his characterizations.

Why do people hate Death of Superman again?
>>93216735
This sums him up perfectly. Well done Anon.

Most likely due to it being an obvious gimmick with everyone knowing Superman would be coming back, as well as almost destroying the collectors aspect (for cash) of comics. (Though Superboy and Steel were awesome.) It pretty much popped the comic boom bubble at that time.
Sometimes. Sometimes not
The only Superman storyline i ever read was Reign of the Supermen and Return. Those were fucking good but whats the general consensus about them?
booster pre-nu52 was fine
