Archie is known for being the lowest page rates in the entire industry. People work for them for the same reason mangaka do, to be part of their own childhood nostalgia.

Of course he was paid at a higher rate but I guarantee it was still below what he'd make arting/writing anywhere else.

Because the OP cover and >>93204967 (and some of the more detailed illustrations in the comic itself) seem to imply that Veronica is at best not much to look at while Betty is some ascended tier of titty-monster, but some of the other comics either have it flipped around, have them both stacked, neither stacked, just even cheesecake, it's really confusing for my dick.
