This depends on 2 things: Whether they let Metal Sonic use his Heroes tricks, and how durable Metal Sonic is. If they let him use the stuff from Heroes, he'll win. If not, it comes down to whether or not he can actually hurt Zero without injuring himself. In X5, Zero can impact a shuttle into a space colony and then that colony can crash to earth and Zero survives this, in one route at least. I don't know that Metal Sonic, designed to fight an organic and having very few weapons (laser stuff sometimes? A shield?) is capable of sufficiently damaging Zero, an extremely powerful and durable machine even hundreds of years after he was built. But then, he dies a lot, soooo maybe.

Power level logic is bullshit. You and most others probably don't know why you consider the power jump "bullshit" . You could remove all transformations from the series and nothing would change, especially in Super, where despite getting all these new god forms, every opponent that shows up is as strong or stringer than them. Chi-chi is strong enough to take and give blows against a Super Saiyan.

I mean yeah, a lot of women in Dragon Ball start families but the only one I'd really fault for that is Videl. Chi-chi made her intentions very clear from pre puberty. Bulma got a bunch of other shit to stay relevant and a woman who likes fucking that much will invariably have kids anyway. As little screentime as Gine got she very clearly just wanted out of the rat race and loop of training that is Saiyan existence.

Videl though? The woman had her own career as a fighter and her own motivations to get stronger. She really couldn't do anything just because she came in way too late with no gimmicks but she was cool as a character during the Buu saga.
