Well, as per AVP there's a universal stream for Hearts of Steel, and Barber doesn't have X-Files as being part of IDW. So I think the simplest way to take it is "there's a Hearts of Steel universe where these are the original guys, and the IDW universe where they're Eukarians".

So here's the real question. Did Bludgeon steal sparks or a hotspot? If it was a hotspot then that a cybertronian birthing ground in a eukarian titan who has unique properties. They could have some real fun with character creation.

I enjoyed Salvation more than I thought I would.
