This series has got me back into reading comic books, though the reason I love it so much might be because I finally get to read from the POV of an Asia superhero rather than that of an Asian-American hero desu. It helps that Kenan is a likeable and douchey in equal measure.

Just a shame that it won't be easy to find a trade paperback of this when it comes out. Where I'm from, no one's even heard of China having it's own DC-endorsed Superman.

As someone who's really familiar with the Morrison school of thought on Superman and superhero mythos in general, I find the Zen Buddhist angle of all of this really fascinating and hope Yang gets enough space with this series' continuation to expand on those thoughts.

The worst selling is Shade the Changing Girl and the worse selling mainline is Blue Beetle.
