Big writers will save their ideas for Image so they can more money if the book does well and get all rights

Smaller writers won't sell enough and it'll get cancelled and any promise it had gets flushed away with a rushed ending

When was the last good push? The 2015 release push is dead now that Sheriff is on break, and Clean Room/Unfollow are cancelled.

You answered your own question, that's it. They don't seem to be pushing anything worth following any time soon either. Personally, I'm going elsewhere and looking forward to IDW's Black Crown imprint since it has Shelly Bond leading it.

The problem is WB, so you can't save them. Image, Dark Horse, Boom, etc are all places you see DC writers go rather than the creator owned imprint at their own company.

Shelly Bond just picked up the leftovers from Berger's Vertigo and Image. Dark Horse has an imprint by Karen Berger, which will be more worth reading.

I'm looking forward to that too, but they haven't even announced a single book or creator yet while Black Crown has its first one coming out in October. And Bond was still good, not Berger good, but good.
