>The director who brought stylised stop-motion films The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline to life, Henry Selick, will direct a pilot for a television series adaptation of video game Little Nightmares.
Thought /co/? I think this sounds quite interesting, especially if it maintains a genuinely creepy tone. We don't get enough of that in western animation
For those who don't know of the game

So was that the point of the game? To get a franchise going? Because it was really short and really left a lot of unanswered questions.
>What was there was interesting tho.

I doubt it, it was a small studio that made this, wasn't it? I'd be surprised if they had TV adaptation plans from the getgo, seems ambitious
I'm still yet to play it desu, it looks interesting but heard it's pretty short
Where are the /v/fags at

Considering the game is basically a stop motion film since it's only a couple of hours long and there isn't any gameplay, this seems like a good direction. I didn't think Little Nightmares was a particularly good game per se, but it's atmosphere and art direction were done rather well.

Honestly I'm surprised it's even getting an adaptation. I'm not really sure what direction it will take either, or who the target audience will really be.

I wouldn't say "there isn't any gameplay". It was simple and easy, but it was definitely there.

Yeah, should have said barely. It's pretty much the bare minimum for a platformer.
>>93182871
Not my jam but the game was visually great and would work well as a stop-motion feature. Don't know how well the world or story would work as an episodic series but hey.

I'm always so impressed by that push.
Have there been any more issues of the comic?
I remember reading the first one a little over a month ago here

That's going to be a short-ass show
Although...Six's feet every episode

Was it any good?

>a stop motion series
Is that even LEGAL?
It'd be so expensive.
>>93191617
Maybe it's only a few episodes
It is surprising, I'd be quite interested in a proper trailer
