This is how I know I've watched too many cartoons in my life.

The show isn't bad though! It might have shitty Newgrounds-tier animation, art that looks like a bastardized version of megaman, and music that's genre doesn't fit the show at all, but they handle the overarching plot well, and the fight scenes are at least better than SU (not as good as JLA maybe). The messages aren't that bad either. It (and this is my opinion) just barely beats behind Gumball as the best show on the network, as while it doesn't rely on references nearly as much as it would have you believe (the metal gear one was pushing it), it's failure to capture it's influences talent in art, and the basic color schemes (the textured lens flare they do sometimes is neat) make this show look flat and uninteresting. This is not a show I would watch in any language other than my own.

Yeah it's really not bad. The art is the only thing holding it back. Completely unforgivable what they did to red action's design, and in certain episodes Enid 's hips are drawn way too big, but it's a nice watch otherwise.

Is that you?

Most of the designs are pretty ugly, and all the references and quirks make this show feel really generic. Like I get that it's supposed to be an homage to anime, but it still feels bland.

That said, it's pretty charming. The style's unique, the characters are likable enough, and the world seems pretty cool. The villains are easily the best part.

The lead is pretty annoying, and I never liked his character archetype. But I'm only a few episodes in and he'll likely mature and get better, so I'm sure I'll like him more later on.

I hate her

There's this old cartoon from the 90's or early 2000's which had elements of horror/mystery.
I remember watching one of the episodes when I was like 7 or 8. The plot was that it was a very hot day and everyone is sweating and shit. Fortunately there suddenly appears like a cloud or something and it's starts to rain. Then there's like a weird thing with the rain making people sick and start to transform into some sort of mutants or something. Protagonists managed to cure people and happy ending and all that but the last shot of the episode is showing some old bum who didn't get the medicine transforming into some weird monster type thing - spooked the hell out of young me. Does anyone recognize the show/episode im describing? Would love to see again for nostalgia sake.

It's 12 when it's animated in 2s. It's 8 in 3s, 6 in 4s, but that's only if they don't do variable timing, which takes a lot of work and knowledge.

This was actually pretty good! Really fun to watch.
Lots of action, jokes, stuff happening, and even decent animation for this kind of cartoon. The only thing I didn't like is that the designs get too simplistic at times.
I can see this becoming pretty popular with kids, if it doesn't end up more hiatus than series. The humor is really in tune with a kid's mentality IMO and it doesn't shy away from violence, unlike a lot of cartoons today.

Season 2 of Problem Solverz looked way more accessible with its subdued colors and actual shading (some say it was better, I personally liked the bright neon colors and old geocities/web1.0 chink computer aesthetic).The Season 2 writing focused more on them dicking around the world and interacting with things, essentially dropping the whole solving problems schtick, and becoming a lot like a kids version of ATHF (and like how the pilot and Paper Rad's usual stuff like P Unit were). Alfe's assholish autism was even toned down, it was great. If Problem Solverz lasted 6 years, then it very well could have been one of those shows that listened to the critics and got better and better with each season.

I'd recommend watching the 2nd season if you can find it, they threw it on Netflix and it got purged, but I'm sure you can find it on vimeo or myspleen or something.

That's the biggest issue I'm having with the series.

I'm seeing everything I watched and played as a kid. Gar is obviously Haggar and shit.
