Are there hidden mini episodes? Why does this show start up do many plot lines just to drop them the next episode?

What happened to the prize fighting that Colleen was doing? How did know one hear about the fire in the hospital? Why did Gao never use the power she had in the tournament ever again?

There are so many things that made this feel like they tried to shove two seasons into one.

Because it was insanely rushed.
