if you liked whatever Bates and Weisman were doing then, you'd like what they're doing there.

I thought it was fairly enjoyable overall.

It was pretty good and a step-up from what they were doing with the character before. Not a fan of Nate's new costume, though.

A lot of people thought he was going to end up being a new Major Force because of the red/gold skin. It's probably actually so it's easier to tell him and Dr. Manhattan apart.

I hope Bates and Weisman get to follow up on it, instead of somebody else resetting Nate back to "not Dr. Manhattan"

Like a lot of Rebirth it's mainly a rehash of a classic run but it's pretty solid.

I'd have liked it better without Will Conrad's art.
I just found it fucking unbearable to go through, especially when I look back at this awesome Gabriel Hardman cover.
