not really. the first movie ended with Robin sealing up the game and throwing it in a river, but the last scene has it wash up somewhere and the tribal drums start playing to indicate that new players finding the game is inevitable. Robin' struggle was to reclaim his stolen childhood and he succeeded.

Yep, the cartoon is actually really cool. Jumanji is this weird sentient dimension and almost everything is secretly mechanical. There's like a huge system of gears that runs the sun and other systems of the game, and there are all these recurring denizens of the game.

Its art is kind of ugly but its an interesting watch.
