What do you like about superheroes? What characteristic makes

For me, I think the defining characteristic of all good superheroes is that they don't give up or take the easy way out. When tragedy strikes, they don't shrink. Giving up and taking the easy way is something that only happen in the shittiest comics, like One More Day or Hackman's Incursions.

i got tired of the way japanese portrait their characters. most of the characters lack basic human action on situations. even with all the bullshit flying around.
it have been easier for me to like fucking batman and superman, because we get to see more of the world they make part of than one of the hundreds or thousands of anime/manga/LN characters I have consumed over the years

I like weird unreal storylines. Good comics embrace weirdness in a way that no other storytelling medium does.
