Can we just talk about how great this show is
its like a huge mix of 70s television, david bowie, and comic books

Yeah it's great. I like how the creators can take however much time they want to perfect it.

>however much time they want
More like adult swim funds them like they fund everything else, which is essentially barely covering their operating costs and the only reason they take as long is because they're forced to. If money was thrown at them in spades they could easily put out quality 24 episode seasons every year with ease, and no they don't need two or three years to half that number just because of the writing process.

I wish real life had supervillainy as a viable career path like it is in Venture. It's the only thing I've ever wanted to do. The Guild has the perfect setup for it, and keeping things from getting too edgy and genuinely harmful.

Is Sgt. Hatred the only sympathetic child molester in television history?
>Red Mantle and Dragoon are a conjoined Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper
>Brian Eno is in a cartoon
Wonder what other off-beat music references I can find in this show

Don't forget Klaus Nomi and Iggy Pop as Bowie's guards in the season 2 finale. I saw that before I had any reason to know their real-life counterparts. God, this show is old.
