Gorillaz Demon Dayz thread

Sounds bretty good live, I would think their stuff would be a bit hard to do. I have to say though, with a band like this it is kind of a drawback to not have the characters on stage in any significant way. I understand they are not "real", but I feel like half of the band is the aesthetics and I'm really not here for the music.

I saw them live on their Plastic Beach tour and it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. They had a lot of exclusive animatic stuff done for it too so was completely satisfied on a visual level

That's good to hear, I'm glad they at least incorporate it into the shows somehow. I'm mostly thinking of those hologram shows, but I guess there is really no way to make it not silly looking.

Theyre live shows are always such a mess. Wish theyd at least know that most of these songs just weren't made to be played with a real drum kit, or that Damon would actually give a shit about improving his singing.
