The modern Scrooge doesn't put his money in a safe anymore. He invests it like any real billionaire. It had been retconned that the money in his money pool were money he personally earned up to a certain point in his life, and that he knows where and when every coin in that pool came from. That pool of money is basically just mementos and his real wealth is everywhere else being spent and earned.

The animation is fine for TV but I'm not feeling the voices either. Except for Donald, who ironically was the voice I was most worried about when I first heard about the series.

I don't think the point is in making sense, but that's not the "canon".
There is no canon. New Ducktales takes it own spin on the characters and I like that.

I'm already way into these new designs, characters and Duckburg.
Thinking about this show I realized that I've read basically two decades worth of weekly Donald Duck comics and they basically always have looked the same. Same character designs, week after week for decades.
Getting fresh take on this stuff is really enjoyable for me.

She came back for the remastered game and her voice was the only one original cast that was noticeably different to me. She seemed like she was straining herself through the lines.

Now I'm a long-time fan of hers, since I grew up on Rocky & Bullwinkle reruns, but this is one instance I'd say to pass the torch.

Anyone got links for some Barks or Rosa stuff? I've only managed to find Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck so far. I haven't read any of the comics yet, but this has me interested.
