This one still holds strong as my #1 story for Bats. Absolutely love the way Gordon suffers so much and still stays somewhat sane in regards to what happened to Babs.Did Moore finally admit to killing off the Joker yet?

No that wasn't the problem. It's a short story so they added an additional 30 side story about Batgirl tracking down some OC gangster that ends withBruce and Barbara fucking on a rooftop.
Mark also blew the Joker's monologue at the end, in my opinion.

Beat me to it. Thematically, it makes sense, especially since Moore isn't a continuity wank. But as soon as Morrison opened his mouth about it, Moore's opinion on the matter was sealed.
