Man that's a tough one, I think the ones I liked the most were the guys from the 80's Spider-Man cartoons, and the guys who did the voice of Doom on the 90's FF cartoon. And maybe Lorne Kennedy from the 90's Capcom games.
>Spider-Man: Keaton
>Batman: Conroy
>Superman:Newbern

Ralph James has to be my favorite. I like Kennedy too and I wish he got to do more work as Doom. Maurice LaMarche has a great version too, actually.
I really think Simon Templeman's version is overrated.

are you going to show us what it sounds like?

John Stephenson or Clive Revill
But I read him as Tony Jay

Only in the second season, though.
Josh Keaton is Spider-Man
If I have to pick a Batman, it's a super close race between Kevin Conroy and Diedrich Bader... Bader fucking grew on me which was absolutely surprising.
Brad Garret is quintessential Lobo
I'm never gonna outgrow Gottfried's Myxyzptlk
... You know what? Andrea Romano's voice direction choices have created IRON CLAD voice choices for me...
I thought the homestuck audio book was pretty mediocre and uncreative but damn if they didn't cast meenah perfectly.

Simon Templeman was such an awesome prick as Doom in the 90s
I love that 80s Darth Vader type voice, too. John Stephenson did it in the 70s FF cartoon and Amazing Friends
Those 90s Marvel cartoons and EMH had a lot of those definitive voices for me. Chuck McCann as the Thing is just so great. He's like an old school Brooklyn meathead uncle. He just sounds like someone I can imagine smoking cigars and playing cards with Jack Kirby.

I remember people said that I had a really good Doctor Doom voice when I posted in a vocaroo thread. People really seemed to like it for some reason. Thoughts?

This isn't a vocaroo shilling thread. This is for discussion of real voice actors.
I always imagined the Anti-Monitor sounding like the original Shockwave for some reason.

Sometimes I read him withJames Rolfe'svoice. I don't know why, but it feels very fitting. I usually try to make my own voices up when reading, though, but every now and again...boop. It's his voice for whatever fucking reason. It makes me want to hear him scream "Shockerrrrr!".
