LH and it's contemporaries are all very generic and frankly boring cartoons meant to be easily chewed by a viewing base that I'm pretty sure are well into their twenties now. LH either doesn't have the freedom or the desire to really push boundaries and go places like Peanuts and Hey Arnold which you can see in the generic plots and the entire character of Clyde. While the sisters are one note and Lincoln is a self insert for any lonely neckbeard to jump into, Clyde is the character that truly symbolizes the problem with the show.

He's very generic both personality and appearance wise. Absolutely fails as a foil. And just serves as a easily disposable character for filler episodes. Oh, and if you dare criticize it you're a RACIST!
