A comedy kids cartoon of wh40k could be pretty great if done well imo. I'd imagine there'd be a scene where on one of the imperial factory worlds there's a mix up between the flashlight factory and the lasgun factory. I want a story that doesn't bend over backwards to justify the space-marines or humanity. I want to see bad decisions and moral bankruptcy and I don't want it sugar coated. I would prefer the world to be a mess because messes are fun when they aren't yours.

I don't give a shit about established lore. I watch shows and play games for the experience in the moment. Sometimes a bit of background can be fun but when you have to tip-toe around a million little things the experience slows to a crawl. When the lore becomes so tied up in a few factions and characters and situations, when there is no more space for the new it becomes dead weight. I want a million different xenos, weird powers, weird places and lots of heresy.
I don't want fan wankery, the fans are wankers, I want something made with love by dudes having fun.

I want a world that owns up to how fucking ridiculous it is and indulges purely and joyously in what it is.
