I think the ending would have been better received, Ashi and all, if we at least had a scene of the people in the future realizing that Jack getting back to the past could potentially erase their existence and them being okay with that.

I mean, I suppose it's implied with them fighting and dying against Aku, but being erased from existence is a bit heavier than just dying. Just look at ghost Scotsman.
