Yeah, clearly it is all very much aping their previous work on other shows but Wyatt is not associated to this at all.

However, I genuinely love the idea of years of mutagen exposure being so out of control that future society just had to accept these furry fucks into the fold and it's all been normalized.

How much you wanna bet were this to be greenlit as a full on series the new Shredder-like big bad would be some Angry Masked Eugenicist leading an army of science soldiers out to exterminate all mutants and mke humanity pure again...

Honestly, I think I'd have preferred if instead of the Burger King Kids Club in 4 Primary Colored Bulkheads they had gone in a more Bubblegum Crisis/Saber Knights kind of mecha design instead.

If they're going to be turtles, they need large shells. If you remove the shells they stop being turtles.

Not to mention that the BC suits are too small for true mecha, they're power armour at best. As I understand it mecha needs to be at least Landmate sized.

Y'know what I'd love to see from TMNT
it was an idea that popped into my head when the 2012 show had the Kraang as being a force on earth since ancient times.
It was a what if kinda thing involveing centuries worth of mutants hiding from both the humans and the Kraang and only coming forth years after the Kraang were defeated
But, most people aren't willing to accept Mutants into human soniety and it leads to a budding discontent between both sides with the Turtles caught right in the middle of it due to their friends and their own personal reactions to being considered like second class citizens despite having saved the earth.

I just realized that DJW never does his own stuff. Teen Titans was more or less where he cut his teeth. Then he did Transformers, Scooby Doo, and Ben 10. Now TMNT. All of these were established fictions. Wyatt has never created a cartoon all his own.
