She's a nice person who's dedicated to helping people. I mean seriously, if you're going to make these threads at least pick a character that you'll have trouble symapthizing with. Sara is competent, capable, compassionate and brave. You an't get much more than that when it comes to "nice".

Her comic went on for far longer than anyone expected, and was a building block to a shared universe that even has extensions into a future timeline. Not bad for something that could've easily faded away silently after the end of the 90s.

popular enough to go 20 years, one of the longest female led titles. It's pretty much the only 90s invention that lasted, even Spawn died. The origin story sets up a universe very well IMO. I think a lot of the pieces that came together to make it were luck, but they worked.

no, it was quite good. The highest rated show to be cancelled actually. They took chances with it and while I think most of them paid off, some of them were fucking terrible. The whole premise of season 2 redoing season 1 was a weird idea but sometimes it paid off in a big way.

Nottingham was VERY rapey. Surprised they got away with that.

Comics needs a Michael Turner right now. I was actually not a big fan of his art but he was more than an artist, he had a unique vision for comics. Not to compare him to Kirby but like Kirby he did it all, was a complete original and had something really fresh to express. Like if you read Fathom and Soulfire, they are really elegant comics that capture the imagination, you can tell that even though they're not perfect they're his vision. I don't think there's anybody like that in comics right now, all the big stars are just writers, there aren't any stars who are comic auteurs.
