What people have been "outraged" about, is the sum of all the peculiar details regarding this.
The similar looks, him voicing it, him being incharge of writing the episodes in which the character appears, the staff's "it's just a prank brah, nothing to see here" excuses, and the fact that this isn't some one-time gag but a subject that has been present in multiple episodes.
Is it pedophilia? No its not, and no one is pressing charges against him, this is just simply something unprofesional that triggered the random people on the internet and would have had no impact in his career had it not been given spotlight by "journalists".
